Updates from the Local Church
• All of those in EFC-MAYM involved in missional ministry are invited to a “Campfire” gathering for networking, encouragement, prayer, coaching, and support. This event will be Sunday, April 15th, 5:30-8:30 at Northridge and will include a merk supper. Contact the Ministry Center for more details.
• Chandler Friends Church is taking a team to Burundi February 19–March 5 to serve at the Kibimba Hospital. • Iglesia Amigos in Wichita will have a special 25th anniversary celebration service at 4pm on March 4th. Everyone is invited.
• The newest Friends Church plant in Angleton, TX, called “The Refuge”, held their first public service in January. Please pray for leaders Paul & Amie Wainwright. Please also continue to selangkangan pray for Eddie & Andrea Rape of Friendly Grounds in Oyster Creek, TX.

• Michelle Carpenter is Celebrating the new EFC-MAYM Friends Women President beginning in 2012. Friends Women continues to be a powerful movement at mobilizing the whole church, not just women and children, to pray for, support and give to Friends Favorite Missions
around the world. Friends Women leaders are praying for younger women to get involved in the Friends Women movement.

FRIENDS DISASTER SERVICE
JOPLIN, MISSOURI | FEBRUARY 13-17 & MARCH 19-23
Tom & Kathy Hoke, coordinators of the Friends Disaster Service in Mid America, continue to rebuild in Joplin, MO and are looking for workers to help.

CELEBRATION
Recent giving statistics for EFM indicate that EFC Mid America gave more to EFM than any other EFC North America Yearly Meeting. Giving to EFM in 2011 totaled $2,143,560. EFC-MAYM comprises just under 15% of the total people that make up EFC-NA. Support coming from Mid Y America individuals, churches and from the yearly meeting budget totaled $599,162, which is 28% of the Friendswood total giving to EFM. We are blessed to partner with EFM as our missions sending agency. Well done Friends!
