Jr. High Bible Quiz Finals, April 30

The 2022 Jr High Bible Quiz season wrapped up on Saturday, April 30 with the final tournament in Friendswood, TX. Thirteen teams from ten churches quizzed over John 11-21. The competition was fierce with some of the rounds ending in overtime. When the dust settled, Tribe of Friends took first place while Argonia Blue came in 2nd, Bethel finished in 3rd and 4th place went to Haviland Blue. The other teams finished as follows:

5th–Derby , Fowler

6th–Haviland Red, Chandler

7th–Friendswood, Northridge

8th–Haviland White, Argonia Red

9th–Friends Community

In addition to the regular ribbons, some special awards are given out at the finals. All Star Medals are given to the 4 quizzers who have the highest average score in their top 3 quizzes. The 2022 All Star Quizzers are:

#4 — Colsen Lewis (Not Pictured, Rose Hill) with an average score of 95

#3 — Elsie Gonzales (Bethel) with an average score of 112

#2 — Mason Corliss (Tribe of Friends) with an average score of 119

#1 — Henco Gerber (Bethel) with an average score of 132

The Frazier Award is given to a student who shows excellence in quizzing, leadership, and Christian testimony. This year’s winner is Elsie Gonzales (Bethel).
