This new church planting project is one of the newest in EFC-MAYM lead by veteran Guatemalan pastor Arnoldo Garcia who has pastored a Spanish-speaking church in EFC-Southwest for a number of years, but recently relocated his family to north Houston TX and has begun gathering Latinos for a new Amigos church there. Pastor Arnoldo and his wife Delmy live in Spring TX. Here is his video report to Home Missions for Ministry Conference 2020. Audio is in Spanish with translated English subtitles.

This video report is from Pastor Runy Moscoso of Iglesia Amigos San Antonio TX. Pastor Runy and his wife Mimi (Noemi) are from Guatemala and planted Amigos SATX in 2011, and have been under the guidance of EFC-MAYM Home Missions Partner Church Team since that time. Coalition of Hispanic Ministries (CHM) Director David Byrne is also our Texas Area Multiplication leader has been coaching and guiding this ministry. Amigos SATX is fully self-supporting and Will be encouraged to seek Partner Church Team approval to move to full-church status here in EFC-MAYM next year.
Friends of Topeka KS
Friends of Topeka KS planter couple are Jesse and Savannah Waller and the following video is an update on their recent activities of gathering a core group in Topeka. Jesse was employed as a chaplain at the Kansas Women’s Prison after he and Savannah graduated from Barclay College. They have two young boys with a third child on the way. Jesse is from Greenleaf ID Friends Church and Savannah is from Rose Hill KS Friends Church.

Isai and Sucely Ramos planted Amigos OKC in 2013 and are a church within a church model with Oklahoma City First Friends. Isai and Sucely have two children Stephanie and Benjamin and are faithfully gathering and growing Amigos OKC since. The church is guided by a Partner Church Team from Central Oklahoma Friends churches with David Byrne coaching. Isai’s video details some of the growing activities of this young congregation. Isai and Sucely are both musically talented along with Sucely’s brother, Hugo and others, and her parents who are a part of Amigos OKC.
