The Kwibuka Willard Ferguson Seminary needs $2,250 more to reach their goal to complete a building project there at Kwibuka, Burundi. Burundians have already raised $6,000 and EFM agreed to try raising $5,000. This Seminary (which is a High School-level Bible School) is functioning with partially loaned buildings and improvised kitchen anddining areas for students. They are also short on dormitory space for their student body as they enlarge to accommodate 75 students. This project will go towards meeting these needs.
I had the opportunity to visit Burundi last month with David Kellum, retired missionary to Burundi, and Matt Macy, Associate Director for Evangelical Friends Mission. We had a great visit to the Kwibuka Willard Ferguson Seminary. We met the students that attended there coming from Friends Churches all over Burundi. It was one of the highlights of my trip as we shared testimonies, teachings and greetings with the students. I wrote up a full report about our trip to Africa on the EFCMAYM blog. If your church is interested in giving to this project, please send a check to EFCMAYM marked “Kwibuka/Ferguson Seminary”.
