Rusty serves as Ministry Director of Multiplication for Evangelical Friends Church-Eastern Region (EFC-ER). He also serves as the Board Chair for Evangelical Friends Mission (EFM). In his work with EFC-ER, Rusty’s ministry is focused primarily on church planting, international partnerships, and cross-cultural ministry in North America. As board chair for EFM, Rusty provides leadership and oversight for the collective global ministry initiatives supported by the six yearly meetings that comprise Evangelical Friends Church-North America (EFC-NA). Before joining the EFC-ER staff, Rusty served in pastoral ministry within the local church for 17 years and loved (almost) every minute of it! Rusty is a graduate of Malone University, Ashland Theological Seminary and Barclay College, where he completed a master’s degree with a dual concentration in Quaker Studies and Missional Multiplication. Rusty and his wife, Kara, have four young children and make their home in Damascus, Ohio. Rusty’s core passion is to see people join God in His mission to the world as devoted disciples of Jesus.
