Jim serves as General Superintendent for Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends Church. Prior to his role as a superintendent, Jim served as VP of Academic Services and Director of the School of Graduate Studies at Barclay College, where he continues to direct the MA in Missional Multiplication. Before living in Kansas, he served as a local church pastor for 30 years at Rose Drive Friends Church in Yorba Linda, California. Jim has directed each of the five National and International Friends Church Multiplication Conferences in recent years and has served as the chair of Multiplication Catalyst Ministries, promoting church planting among evangelically-minded Friends across the country and around the world. Jim received his undergraduate degree from George Fox University and has earned four graduate degrees as well, including a PhD in History from the University of California, Riverside. Jim has been married to his wife, Jeanine, for over 38 years. They have 4 children and three grandsons.
