I am pleased to announce that Chuck Mylander is joining the EFM staff as our Director of Development. He began his duties on September 1. This is a half-time position.
Chuck and his wife, Nancy, are members of Rose Drive Friends Church, which is part of Evangelical Friends Church-Southwest (EFC-SW). They will continue to live in California while Chuck works for EFM. Many of you will remember that Chuck served as executive director of EFM for 11 years, but before that Chuck was superintendent of EFC-SW. He has also served as pastor of Friends churches in Oregon and California.
As Director of Development, Chuck will lead our fundraising efforts in conjunction with the EFM staff and board. He will also help develop an estate-planning program for EFM. The main goal of these efforts is to mobilize more prayer and financial support for fueling a worldwide movement of people who seek first the kingdom of God, planting churches that live and die to carry out the Great Commission in the spirit of the Great Commandment.
Speaking of prayer, Chuck is a man of prayer who loves to mobilize others for prayer. And since he definitely does not want to carry out his new responsibilities without prayer support, he is looking for 500 of you to join his prayer team. This is a group of people to whom he will send prayer requests as he carries out his work. He is also good about reporting to his team how God works in answer to prayer. Would you consider joining him on this adventure through prayer? You can sign up as a prayer partner by clicking on this link: [email protected].
Thank you for your support of EFM.
-Dan Cammack, EFM Executive Director
