When Jesus washed his disciples’ feet, he wasn’t just showing them what love and humility look like. He was also giving them a beautiful picture of the Kingdom of God and its UPENDED nature. When compared with the kingdoms of this world, the Kingdom of God appears backwards. It flows in reverse. Things that God may call a treasure, the world calls a curse. The Kingdom doesn’t look like the rest of the world, and as its citizens, we shouldn’t either. Come join us this summer at Camp Quaker Haven as we explore the UPENDED nature of the Kingdom of God, and discover ways that we can join God in doing His work in His Kingdom!
