Registration has officially closed for our 2022 Ministry Conference in Lawrence, July 29-31, 2022. Due to the generosity of our partners at Everence and the response from our pastors across EFC-MAYM, we have maximized our capacity for this special pre-conference event. In addition, we have sold all the rooms available to us for Ministry Conference.
As we prepare for these upcoming events below are a couple of things you will want to be aware of:
- Pastors, you are encouraged to “check-in” at The Oread hotel in Lawrence on your way to Monarch stadium, located at The Legends complex west of Kansas City. You may “check-in” at the hotel any time after 3:00 p.m. Upon arriving at the stadium, we will have tickets for the game and concession debit cards available for you to pick up at the box office. On Friday morning Everence will provide breakfast and lunch at the hotel. In addition, we will participate together in a morning full of resourcing by Everence, as well as hear from Thayne Thompson and Tony Wheeler regarding their new roles.
- Check-in and registration for Ministry Conference will occur on Friday afternoon between 1 and 7 p.m. at the Oread. Please plan to arrive between 1:00 and 1:30 p.m. if you are planning on participating in the historical presentation and field trip beginning at 2:00 p.m. We will be meeting in the Hancock Room at 2:00 p.m. for an orientation, and then leaving at 3:00 p.m. on chartered buses for the actual tour.
More details will be sent in advance to all registered participants. We are looking ahead with great anticipation to our time together in Lawrence at the end of this month. Please be in prayer daily for this special sesquicentennial gathering!
