Gregg Prickett, chairman of the Evangelical Friends Mission board is pleased to announce Dan Cammack as the new Director of EFM and Matt Macy as the new Associate Director. Dan Cammack is currently pastor of Tigard Community Friends Church in Tigard, Oregon and a former missionary in Peru with Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends Church. He and his wife Tami and family served for 15 years as missionaries to Peru. Dan is vice-president of the EFM Board, chairman of its Strategy Committee, missions coach to Mexico, and former chairman of the Board of Global Outreach of Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends Church. He holds a Masters in Ministry degree from Azusa Pacific University, and is a graduate of George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. Matt Macy is currently Youth Superintendent of Evangelical Friends Church-Mid America and an active member of Crossroads Friends Church in Wichita, Kansas. He is a member of the Strategy Committee of the EFM Board, and missions coach to Bangladesh. Matt will lead his 50th short-term mission trip this summer and is a major planner of youth events, including the 2010 nationwide Summit Conference in Colorado Springs, CO. He is a graduate of Friends University in Wichita, KS with a major in religion and philosophy. He and his wife Carrie and family live in Wichita. The EFM Board believes that adding an Associate Director will move the organization forward in recruiting new missionaries, connecting with churches, and giving good strategy for missionaries and their leaders. Both men will assume office on October 1, 2012. |
