This year’s luncheon was held in the Drury, where we all made our own taco salad. The food was absolutely delicious!
Our theme was from Luke 12:35 NIV, Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning. ESV puts it like this, Stay dressed for action and keep your lamps burning. Our speaker shared a time, when, culturally, she was NOT dressed for service/action, the awkwardness of that moment and how it has stayed with her all these years. She stressed the importance of us all being dressed and ready for whatever the Lord has for us in life. She reminded us that being dressed in obedience to the Lord is enough. We loved hearing from her and so appreciate her willingness to share.
EFM provided new one-page prayer sheets. Each table spent time praying for designated workers – praying Luke 12:35 over them.
