Theme | Hope Renewed
Description | As we move beyond our Sesquicentennial year, the question we must each ask ourselves is whether we REALLY believe God is able to do “something new” in our lives and in our churches. Is change possible? Can we trust God for it? In what area of our lives have we given up hope? Healthy and faith-filled pastors and church leaders are built on the firm foundation of Christ. Join in this conversation with pastors and leaders walking together as we gather for these special regional events and seek to answer these questions for our people and our churches across EFC-MAYM, with this in mind:
- Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen (Eph. 3:20-21).
- For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Tim. 1:7).
2023 Focus: Hope Renewed for Pastors and Church Leaders
2024 Focus: Hope Renewed for Church Health
Please plan to join us for one of our 2023 EFC-MAYM Regional Leadership Retreats as we seek to identify keys to renewed hope for healing in our personal lives and the lives of those we serve. All pastors, clerks, elders, and leadership team members are encouraged to join in these important conversations where we will worship, pray, and seek God and discover what Jesus is excited about in 2023 and beyond. God can bring hope, faith, and life into our lives! A blessing from Romans 15:13 notes, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
