Building Hope and Community in Hutchinson

By

Recovery is about more than breaking free from addiction. It’s about finding connection, rebuilding relationships, and discovering a new way forward.

That’s the heart behind Hutchinson Recovery Hub (HRH), a growing effort to bring hope and community to individuals in recovery in Reno County.

HRH began taking shape as local leaders asked a simple question: What would it look like to create a place where people could find support, build meaningful relationships, and know they don’t have to walk the road of recovery alone? Inspired in part by the work of Wichita Recovery Hub and the story of Hutchinson native Keith Loudermilk, that vision is becoming a reality.

One of the first ways we’re putting this vision into practice is through Grub & Grow. We don’t just provide a meal; we sit down and eat together. Around the table, relationships develop, conversations happen, and practical life skills are shared. It’s a place to belong, grow, and begin taking steps toward a healthier future.

And this is only the beginning. We want to expand opportunities for connection, develop additional programming, and eventually establish a dedicated space where people can find community and support as they move forward in recovery.

Help Us Take the Next Step

We have an immediate goal of raising $2,500 by November 4 to help us participate in a Recovery Café Network cohort. This opportunity will help us learn from others, strengthen our foundation, and build a more sustainable recovery community in Hutchinson.

We’re also looking for people who will invest in this work month after month. Consistent monthly giving helps turn a growing vision into a lasting community resource.

  • $10 a month helps build a foundation of support.
  • $25 a month or more makes you a member of our Founders Club, helping sustain and grow this work.

Whether you can give toward the immediate need, become a monthly supporter, help spread the word, or support us in prayer, you can be part of what’s growing in Hutchinson.

Recovery grows through relationships, and community makes those relationships possible. Thank you for helping us build a place where hope has room to grow.

Will you help us take the next step?
